VirtualTourist: La Palapa Open Air Dining by Al Graichen (3/5) “Newly rebuilt after a fire in mid 2008, La Palapa keeps much of it’s old “dim light” charm. It is a bit lighter now however. It did keep the round shape of an oversized Palapa which is normally seen on the beach to protect people from the sun. The food is good, service relatively fast and very friendly. ”
