El Cafe De Lolita has been added to the Discover Loreto directory: http://www.discoverloreto.com/where-to-eat/coffee/el-cafe-de-lolita
There’s nothing like the decadent aroma of fresh baked bread!
Except maybe that this bread is used for the delicious deli gourmet sandwiches that are the signature of new El Café De Lolita!
Café Lolita, (my shorthand) just opened this week and is offering something different for locals and visitors alike.
Proprietors Francisco and Paola Rosas have created a quaint patio garden café where the focus is quality food and outstanding fresh ground coffee in cozy, yet slightly retro surroundings. It’s namesake is the highest mountain in Loreto and the goal of it’s owners to have guests experience an equal altitude of ‘cocina contentment’. Paola and ‘Paco’ want to provide a place for all the community to enjoy freshly ground coffee, espresso drinks, and delicious pastries and food while catching up on the local news and scuttlebutt. Interesting and spirited discussions are encouraged!
Dee Wise says “…just got back from lunch there with Norma…it was delicious…I will spread the word! We had really good sandwiches.”
Café Lolita patio area. Free Wi-Fi Internet.
Café Lolita is located on Salvatierra Street a 1/2 block up from the Malecón from Islas. Hours: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Daily. Closed Wednesday. Local phone: 1350961
